One of Birmingham’s most high-profile marketing agencies has been given a major restructure with two directors leaving the business.

After three years of trading as Branch Martin Spicer directors David Martin and Richard Spicer have left to set up a new marketing agency, Creative Tweed.

Suzie Branch has bought the directors’ shares and taken full control of the company. As part of the buy-out Branch Martin Spicer Marketing Limited will change its name to Branch & Co Limited.

Suzie Branch said: “After three years growing the business this is a great opportunity to consolidate services, expand our footprint and add to the digital and social media teams.”

“The company will continue to offer personal proactive marketing services but will also include a greater focus on strategic communications and PR, innovative website design and data applications, digital and video applications, creative management and graphic design, social media and traditional media planning.”

As part of the company restructure Branch & Co Limited is taking on new app and website programmers and agreed new office space in Birmingham and Worcester.

Based in Colmore Plaza, Birmingham, Creative Tweed will offer graphic design, video production, branding and advertising, web development, digital marketing and PR.

Digital director, David Martin, said: “As well as continuing to provide high quality marketing services to existing clients, we have been developing some really exciting services that explore the possibilities that digital media brings.

“From delivering personalised web experiences to creating user interfaces that utilise sound and touch; we have some really great initiatives lined up for the next 12 months.”

Creative director, Richard Spicer added: “We now have the scope and freedom to really push creative boundaries, while building on our key strengths.”
