Birmingham design consultancy IE Design is celebrating winning gold, silver and bronze at the 2014 Transform Awards – Europe’s only dedicated celebration of excellence in branding.
Jewellery Quarter-based IE won awards for all three nominations for their work with the Russell Group universities of Warwick and Birmingham.
The 26-strong team beat international competition from the likes of Lloyds Bank and Glasgow City Marketing Bureau.
University of Warwick’s careers service campaign was named overall winner of the Best Visual Identity category with Gold Award with University of Birmingham closely behind winning the Silver Award. University of Birmingham also gained a further bronze in the Best Use of Visual Property category.
IE’s Managing Director Ollie Leggett said: “To be nominated three times in such prestigious international awards is a tremendous accolade – to come away with Gold, Silver and Bronze is just amazing.
“It’s testament to IE’s deep education sector expertise and the dedication and craftsmanship of our talented team. 2014 marks our 20th anniversary and we are delighted to be adding yet another award to the trophy cabinet in such a special year.”
IE’s gold award came in the Best Visual Identity category for their work invigorating University of Warwick’s careers service campaign ‘My Warwick Journey’.
IE also took home silver in the same category for their work with University of Birmingham’s Careers Network, and rounded off the night by winning a Best Use of Visual Property bronze award with University of Birmingham’s Careers Network.
Dubbed as 'a celebration of rebranding, repositioning and brand transformation', the Transform Awards recognise branding projects launched across Europe, the Middle East and even as far afield as North Africa. The list of past winners includes work delivered for companies including Cancer Research UK, Lotus and HSBC.
The awards were presented at a gala dinner on Tuesday April 1, at The Brewery in London, hosted by Alastair Campbell.
