Digital agency Adaptable has won a design contract with city centre business improvement district Retail Birmingham.

The Custard Factory-based firm will be responsible for the design and delivery of all digital and marketing products for Retail Birmingham to help it communicate with members and promote and support the retailers which fall under its remit.

This includes refreshing the Retail Birmingham brand identity and designing a new website to highlight BID projects, news and events. The site also includes a private members area containing a range of useful materials.

A BID is a defined geographical area in which companies pay a levy on their rates which is then used for services and improvements.

Adaptable was founded by Dan Cooper and Olly Sorsby and the team was also responsible for the design of the TEDxBrum event website.

Mr Cooper said: "We're thrilled to be able to partner with Retail Birmingham and support them in raising awareness of the great work they do around the city.

"We work with a lot of international clients so it's very rewarding to work on a local project which will fly the flag for Birmingham's retail and leisure destinations."

Steve Hewlett, Retail Birmingham BID manager, added: "2015 is set to be an exciting year for us with a host of new retailers coming to the city centre.

"Adaptable is a talented young digital agency in Birmingham and we've been really impressed with the quality of their work and retail industry understanding in helping us develop our new brand identity and website for BID members."
