A property consultancy has appointed a new managing partner to its Birmingham office.

Rider Levett Bucknall has promoted Adam Ellis-Morgan from his role heading up the project management team for the firm's Midlands division, having joined the agency in January.

He replaces Nigel Mason who moved on to another role within the firm earlier in the year.

Director Dean Sheehy said: "We are delighted to appoint Adam to lead our Birmingham office.

"He steps up to the role at an exciting time as we build our Midlands division in line with our 2020 growth strategy.

"Since joining us, Adam has made a significant contribution to our business and we are very pleased to have made this internal promotion in recognition of this."

Mr Ellis-Morgan has more than 25 years of experience in project management, property development and strategic asset management, as well as a proven ability in the formulation and delivery of corporate real estate strategy.

His previous experience includes working at Virtus Consult and Capita and he has been involved in the planning and delivery of major projects across a variety of construction sectors including numerous NHS trusts and public sector organisations throughout the UK.
