Property asset management company Mainstay has appointed a former associate director from CBRE in Birmingham to lead its commercial team.

David Charlton is the Worcester-based company's new head of commercial property management and has experience of looking after mixed-use schemes, office, industrial and retail properties.

In addition, Emily Filer joins the commercial property management team, also from CBRE, as a senior surveyor.

Mainstay chief executive Paul Crook said: "We are naturally delighted to have secured the services of both David and Emily, as their big-firm background and experience will add a further dimension to our commercial property management capability.

"Both will play a key part in helping to deliver our planned expansion for our commercial property management business"
