Lettings totalling around 10,000 sq ft have been secured at The Courtyard office development in Solihull town centre.

The whole of 8 The Courtyard, covering 5,081 sq ft, has been secured by Orbit (Underwriting Agency) which has relocated from its previous premises, in Acocks Green, while the ground and first floors of 6 The Courtyard have been let to Ellis Hass and Co Solicitors, totalling 1,185 sq ft.

A further 1,336 sq ft, representing part of the second floor at 1 The Courtyard, has been leased to financial adviser Priestley Crowe with the balance of the floor being taken by Chronos Oil & Gas.

Finally, 900 sq ft has been let to BSL Strategic at 2 The Courtyard.

The development is off Warwick Road in Solihull town centre and has nine buildings. Joint letting agencies are JLL and Johnson Fellows.

Councillor Ian Courts, cabinet member for economic development and land at Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, said: "Solihull town centre is home to a range of major national and international organisations as well as small and medium sized companies.

"It's a great location and perfect access to anywhere in the country. Solihull has always been seen as a key location for successful and entrepreneurial companies.

Other tenants at the development include HandelsBanken, Millichips, PNF Surveyors, Tactile Technology and Accuvision.
