More than 150 property professionals from across the West Midlands joined leading commercial property experts Johnson Fellows when it marked its 30th anniversary with a special event.

The Birmingham-based chartered surveyors played hosts at an event at the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery in Chamberlain Square, which featured entertainment by renowned soprano Susan Parkes and pianist Warren Mailley-Smith.

Johnson Fellows partners Nick Wint, Andrew Rowson, Chris Gaskell, Neil Wetherell and James Merrick were among the 35-strong team to welcome guests who travelled from across the region to mark the occasion.

Nick Wint said the anniversary comes at an exciting time for commercial property professionals in the city, which is seeing a series of high profile building and redevelopment programmes come to life.

“We’re extremely proud at how far we have come in the last 30 years and this celebration marks a real milestone for us,” said Nick.

“It is a really exciting time to be in Birmingham at the moment as the past 10 years have seen huge changes in the city and the region’s property market.

“In ten years’ time, Birmingham will be unrecognisable to what it is today and that is an exciting prospect for anyone who wants to live, work, invest or develop here,” said Nick.

Although known mainly for its retail agency work, Johnson Fellows has established itself as one of the region’s leading independent chartered surveying practices, specialising in property management, professional services, building consultancy and more recently valuation, rating and industrial agency. Earlier in 2014, it took over Solihull-based Salway Bradbury.
