A Midland estate agency has become the latest company to set up on Colmore Row.

Wolverhampton-based estate agents and lettings firm Goodchilds has moved into 102 Colmore Row in Birmingham city centre, taking 269 sq ft at £25 per sq ft on a five year term.

The deal with owner Real Estate Investors plc (REI) marks further expansion for Goodchilds which is currently celebrating its 20th anniversary.

The business has offices at Aldridge, Burntwood, Cannock, Erdington, Lichfield, Milton Keynes, Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent, Sutton Coldfield, Tamworth, Telford, Walsall, Wednesbury and Wednesfield.

Ian Clark, senior asset manager, at REI said the letting reinforces the “clustering” of estate agents/letting agents along Colmore Row.

He said: “We already have Centrick, FleetMilne and CPBigwood in our buildings on Colmore Row. And now Goodchilds.

“The housing sector is reviving fast – it is very encouraging.

“It also shows that the market generally is improving and headline rents are increasing.”

Knight Frank acted for REI on the deal.
