Property firm CPBigwood has sold its residential sales and lettings operations in Stratford-upon-Avon and Henley-in-Arden.

Estate agency Andrew Grant has acquired the businesses for an undisclosed sum.

All of CPBigwood’s sales and lettings staff in those offices would be transferred and there would be no redundancies, the company said.

The move into Warwickshire makes this the fifth county that Andrew Grant now operates in.

Birmingham-headquartered CPBigwood’s residential service charge team and property management department will remain to service its Warwickshire and Cotswold clients from the Stratford office, along with auctions, commercial agency, agricultural, professional and valuations staff.

Senior partner Rory Daly said: “These are our core service areas and we have opted to focus on these areas throughout our office network in Birmingham, Stratford, Loughborough, Southampton and London.

“The opportunity to divest our residential sales and lettings operations in Warwickshire to Andrew Grant provides a good outcome for both parties, and a secure future for our staff.”

CPBigwood will continue to offer residential sales and lettings from its Colmore Row office in Birmingham.
