A critically acclaimed restaurant in Birmingham's Chinatown has been placed on the market for £150,000.

Shanghai Shanghai is on the first floor of the Arcadian complex alongside retailers and bars and close the New Street Station.

The restaurant is approximately 3,000 sq ft, can accommodate more than 140 people and has been refurbished by the current owners.

It is being marketed for sale by property adviser Christie + Co.

Paul Reilly, from the agency's Birmingham office who is handling the sale, said: "It is rare to find a business like this for sale in the Chinese Quarter and we expect plenty of interest with an ever-increasing, multicultural population coming to the second city to study and work."

Christie + Co is selling the leasehold interest in Shanghai Shanghai.
