A Birmingham city centre office tower has reached full occupancy for the first time since being acquired four years ago after a tech start-up agreed to take space there.

Centre City has signed up SocialSignIn which will see its 30-strong team move to the building in Hill Street in a 1,900 sq ft office.

SocialSignIn is a social media management company whose clients include race track Silverstone, dating website Match.com and transport group National Express.

Stuart Banbery, marketing manager at SocialSignIn, said: "We needed a new location that could support our rapid growth over the years to come.

"Centre City provides us with a vibrant new home right on the doorstep of the thriving Grand Central development.

"We are now proud to invite global clients to our offices and we look forward to growing our operations here."

Property company Bruntwood bought the building near New Street station in 2012 and this is the first time since then it has reached full occupancy.

Rob Valentine, head of the firm's Birmingham office, added: "We are delighted to have SocialSignIn at Centre City and we look forward to seeing them grow and succeed in their new home."
