Independent planning and design practice Barton Willmore has added to its team in Birmingham following its recent relocation from Solihull.

The city office has been boosted by three new town planners including Antony Harding and Stephenie Hawkins joining as planning associates.

Mr Harding has more than 20 years of private and local authority experience after previously being employed at Turley, DTZ and Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council.

He led on planning for the new £340 million Midland Metropolitan Hospital in Smethwick.

Ms Hawkins joins the team from GVA, where she worked as associate planner, and prior to this was an inspector at the Planning Inspectorate and planning officer for Birmingham City Council.

Completing the trio of new appointments is Daniel Wilson as senior planner, having recently gained his chartership in town planning.
