The second phase of a Bromsgrove business park has been sold with the last block snapped up by a computer systems specialist.

Vaughan Data Systems (VDS) pounced at phase two at The Courtyard, for its 2,430 sq ft office headquarters, purchased for £235,000.

Worcestershire business property consultant John Truslove advised developers West Midlands Contracts.

Phase two consisted of eight two-storey detached offices with electrically operated internal security shutters and modern amenities, including ICT connections.

Mr Truslove said: "The confidence West Midlands Contracts showed in phase two follows the successful sale of the five units in the first phase.

"The success of The Courtyard demonstrates the demand for modern freehold office accommodation in a business park, but with the benefits of a rural location close to motorway network."

Linus Mason, managing director of Vaughan Data Systems, said he saw the new offices as an investment opportunity as well as individual, modern offices.

"We moved from Bromsgrove, so the location was ideal," he said.

VDS was founded in 1992 and has grown into a highly respected hardware and software supplier, with niche markets providing software solutions."
