Nick Fell is a Chartered Engineer and holds an honours BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College, and an MSc in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Warwick. Coventry University made him an Honorary Doctor of Technology in 2010.

Nick worked for 19 years at Rover, progressing from chassis engineering to the leadership of several major product programmes including MGF and Land Rover Discovery Series 2. He spent 3 of these years as resident engineer at Honda’s Sayama plant in Japan. He moved to LDV and led the development and introduction of the Maxus van.

Nick joined Tata Motors European Technical Centre (TMETC) in 2006 as Vice President of Engineering to provide technical leadership of the company’s projects for parent company Tata Motors of India. He took over as Director and Head of the company in 2010.
