The BPS Birmingham Future Handover recently took place at the Hyatt Regency Birmingham, welcoming Tara Tomes as the new chair for the young professionals networking organisation.

Sponsored by Gowling WLG, the handover welcomed 70 professionals from across the city’s business and professional services sector.

At the event, chair Tara Tomes (EAST VILLAGE) and immediate past chair Rebecca Simkiss (SimkissGuy Recruitment) discussed the importance of attracting, nurturing and retaining the best talent in the city.

They announced plans for a new Leadership Development Programme, in partnership with Aston Business School, as well as a Reverse Mentoring Scheme with Colmore BID and a new focus on emerging leaders.
