Law firm mfg Solicitors and Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce recently held the first of their Resource Efficiency Forums – a new quarterly seminar programme which aims to give legal advice and business support for renewable energy projects.

The first seminar was hosted by Worcester Bosch at its headquarters in Worcester and saw a variety of speakers sharing best practice approaches around resource efficiency.

Over 60 delegates attended the event to hear mfg’s Stewart Smith outline the issues that face mico-generation schemes while Hiten Sonpal, from Lombard Green Energy Finance, highlighted the finance options available for businesses looking to install renewable technology.

Mike Ashton, chief executive of Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce, introduced the event while Neil Schofield, from Worcester Bosch, also welcomed delegates.

The next seminar is due to take place in the spring with mfg, who are also patron members of the chamber, continuing to act as sponsors and co-organisers.
