Technology infrastructure provider Six Degrees Group has opened a major new data centre in Birmingham.

The new facility will deliver high-performance, energy-efficient data centre space aimed at meeting the increasing demands of businesses across the Midlands and the UK.

The launch of the new 'Birmingham Central' facility joins its existing sites in Studley and London.

Chief operating officer Mike Ing said: "This is a significant investment from Six Degrees that helps to cement Britain's second city as a major digital hub for the future.

"It also establishes us as one of the leading players in the Midlands hosting marketplace."
