Birmingham property investment business Real Estate Investors plc took over the Laurent-Perrier Champagne Bar at The Cube to celebrate what has been a sensational start to the year for the AIM-listed company.
Chief executive Paul Bassi and his team invited guests to enjoy the sunshine and panoramic views of the city’s skyline on the day the firm announced its three latest acquisitions. REI is also expecting to spend some £20 million more this year on property in the Midlands region.
In its most recent financial year REI announced a fourfold rise in profits and its intention to convert to a Real Estate Investment Trust. REI now has just over 700,000 sq ft across 51 buildings with 153 tenants. Pictures by John James.
