Birmingham-based legal recruitment consultancy BCL Legal sponsored the Birmingham Trainee Solicitors’ Society New Intake drinks event.
The annual gathering is staged to welcome new trainee solicitors working in Birmingham and the West Midlands to the Society and to tell them a bit about its work. It’s also a chance for them to network with trainees from other firms across the region. The event saw around 100 rising legal stars get together as the party moved between the Cosy Club, Island Bar and Victoria.
The Society has announced several new board members including Natalie Moustache (chair), Patrick O’Conner (treasurer), Sarah Bryan (social and cultural secretary) and Hannah Bollard (social and cultural secretary).
Gishan Abeyratne, senior associate at BCL Legal, said: “BCL Legal is a big supporter of the BTSS and this is the fifth year in a row that we have sponsored the new intake drinks. We have five further events scheduled with this committee and we look forward to another fantastic year.”
