Property agents from across the Midlands have been viewing the progress at Coventry’s transformational Friargate regeneration scheme at a series of breakfasts.

More than 50 property agents attended the events in the Friargate Marketing Suite, from where they could see work on the scheme quickly gathering pace. In total, Friargate will comprise 25 new buildings that will transform the city and deliver over 3,200,000 sq ft of mixed use development including Grade A offices, two hotels, homes and retail alongside greatly enhanced public realm that will prioritise the pedestrian across the 37 acre site.

Adrian Griffith, director at Bilfinger GVA, the property agents for the scheme, said: “Friargate will bring first-class energy efficient offices, the first of which will become Coventry City Council’s £40 million new home, as well as residential, retail and leisure units all of which will create around 15,000 jobs. This is transformational regeneration at its purest and it was great to show our peers the progress being made and what is on offer for potential tenants.”
