Land Rover is to unveil its revised Range Rover Evoque at the Geneva Motor Show on March 3.

Striking new headlamps will be one of the defining features of the next version of the Midland car-maker’s most successful car yet.

In advance of the event Land Rover has revealed the first glimpse of the 2016 Evoque, previewing its new-look headlamps.

It will be the first Land Rover to feature full LED adaptive headlamps using the latest technology to improve illumination whilst driving in dark conditions.

The system will also be able to follow the curves of the road to enhance visibility in low light.

A new engine line-up is also set to be revealed for the Evoque, the best-selling vehicle Land Rover has produced to date, as well as new safety and convenience features and interior enhancements.

Speaking about the Evoque’s mid-life makeover, Gerry McGovern, Land Rover design director and chief creative officer, said: “Our challenge has been to enhance Evoque without diluting its iconic design.

“The design refreshments give it an even greater presence on the road yet retain the emotional appeal that has made it so popular with more than 400,000 consumers around the world.”
