A security specialist based in Solihull is hoping to grow turnover by 30 per cent this year after investing £200,000 in a new operations centre in the South East.

Integrity Security, which was formed in 2008 by Will Adams and Tony Turner, is looking to capitalise on a string of new contracts in the region by opening the dedicated base in Letchworth, Hertfordshire.

The move has created ten jobs and will give the company a platform to attract new clients looking for security guarding, concierge services, mobile patrols and CCTV systems.

The company said the move was expected to take turnover passed the £3 million mark by the end of this year, with the potential to increase this to £5 million by 2017.

Managing director Mr Turner said: "We have won a lot of work in the region recently and were looking at an additional base to our HQ in the West Midlands when we won the contract to look after sites for the Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation.

"This requires up to 19 personnel at any one time and needs us to be on the ground quickly.

"As a result of this win, we have taken on new local premises and this will be our regional operations centre for the South East."

The firm employs more than 140 people and provides dedicated cleaning, facilities management and bespoke security services.

Director Mr Adams added: "The Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation deal is another coup for us and builds on existing contracts with Britvic, North Midland Construction, Nottingham Wholesale Fruit and Flower Market and Hortons' Estate in Birmingham city centre."

“The South East operations centre gives us greater coverage and a clear footprint in the region. Our long-term plan is to become a major national force and this is another step in the right direction."
