Dozens of business leaders gathered in Birmingham to mark the end of a ground-breaking coaching and mentoring scheme.
The leaders – all of whom had completed the city council-run great200leaders programme – picked up awards at the event, held at The Studio, in Cannon Street, hosted by inspirational business speaker and polar explorer Mark Wood.
Winners of the main awards included Nick Chadaway, managing director of DMN Logistics, Peter Bruch, managing director of AE Aerospace, and Tony Footitt, a director at TAG Sports and Promotional Clothing.
The awards were handed out by Mohammed Zahir, head of business enterprise and innovation at Birmingham City Council, and Lorraine Holmes,
chief executive of Winning Moves, who delivered thegreat200leaders programme.
great200leaders, managed by Birmingham City Council and funded by the European Regional Development Fund, offers leadership development through coaching, mentoring and peer group workshops led by renowned business speakers.
