The best of this summer’s fashions and beauty essentials have been showcased at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens’ second Seasonal Style event.

More than 170 fashion-conscious women gathered at the luncheon to enjoy the best outfits for the coming season and to get the latest make-up tips from one of the country’s leading make-up artists, raising £5,000 for the Gardens’ Glasshouse Appeal and children’s playground.

Leading personal stylist Beth Goodrham shared her style essentials at the ladies fashion show as models took to the stage to show off a range of outfits, all of which were supplied by John Lewis’s flagship store in Grand Central.

The event was also supported by &Beauty at John Lewis, which created the hairstyles for the models, and Pro Bobbi Brown cosmetics artist Amy Conway, who created the models’ look and provided tips for the guests.

James Wheeler, CEO of Birmingham Botanical Gardens, said: “This was yet another magnificent event and I am absolutely delighted that we had the support of so many retailers and guests so that we could continue to raise much-needed funds for the Gardens. Special thanks must go to John Lewis, which provided our models with beautiful outfits.”
