The Midlands' top 150 construction companies have been counted down in a special supplement in the Birmingham Post this week.
Among the big hitters involved in major projects in the region are Carillion, Barratt Developments, Wates and Interserve and the supplement also ranks the top 150 companies across the UK.
There is also commentary from Speller Metcalfe, which has built a new technology centre at Dudley College, and Clugston, the firm working on the new Cannock Gateway Retail Park.
Property consultancy Wakemans looks at the prospects for the UK in the light of the Brexit vote and historically low interest rates.
