The Aparthotel Adagio Birmingham City Centre hosted its formal launch event at the recently opened property within the Beorma Quarter.

A hundred attendees were treated to an event on the theme of ‘‘Beorma: Past, Present and Future’’.

The idea was for guests to understand more about both the historic past of the Beorma Quarter, but also more about how this part of Digbeth continues to develop and is rapidly becoming a new centre for Birmingham, a centre for the creative industries, new businesses, colleges and great places to eat, as well of course as home to the new hotel.

Guests were made up of key figures in the Birmingham tourism and marketing scene, local businesses and entrepreneurs as well as media and senior executives from Adagio.

They were treated to delicious eats on a past and present theme and invited to take tours of Adagio’s flexible apartments that offer a ‘‘just like home’’ experience for the long stay guest or family traveller.

Some hardy attendees braved the night air on fun walking tours with local guide Ian Braisby to discover some intriguing insights into Beorma/Digbeth – returning to hot and hearty tucker courtesy of the Pietanic duo of pie makers!
