Law firm Browne Jacobson is entering three teams in this year’s Bupa Great Birmingham Run Business Challenge.

Fifteen runners, comprising partners, legal assistants, assistant solicitors and support staff, have been raising money for the firm’s chosen charity of the year, Solihull Life Opportunities (SoLo).

SoLo enables children, young people and adults with learning difficulties to enjoy social and leisure activities; Browne Jacobson hopes to raise at least £1,500 for the charity.

Commercial property solicitor Anna Clifford said: “A colleague who volunteers for SoLo nominated the charity and during 2013 Browne Jacobson employees will undertake a number of fundraising activities, of which the Bupa Great Birmingham Run is just one.”

Twelve of the runners are from Browne Jacobson’s Birmingham office and they will be joined by colleagues from the firm’s Nottingham, Manchester and London offices.

The fastest runner is aiming for one hour and 35 minutes, while the newer runners are aiming for around two and a half hours.
