Robert Plant

In 1968, Jimmy Page recruited Robert Plant as lead singer for his new band Led Zeppelin. The heavy rock pioneers went on to sell more than 300 million albums worldwide. Plant is worth about £100 million, but he turned down an offer of £500m from Richard Branson to reform Led Zeppelin. His 2007 pairing with country and bluegrass singer Alison Krauss brought in close to £10 million in sales and live dates. His latest band, The Sensational Space Shifters, delighted the Glastonbury crowd in 2014 with an acclaimed headline slot. He is a passionate Wolves fan and is club vice-president.
