Randy Lerner

Randy Lerner is owner and chairman of Aston Villa FC. On top of paying £62 million for the club in 2007, he has invested heavily in equity and loans and has underwritten the club’s losses. He graduated from Columbia Law School and is a member of the New York and District of Columbia Bar Association. He worked as a lawyer in New York before entering the business world. He made about around £620 million from the sale of American football team Cleveland Browns to Jimmy Haslam in 2012.
